Dane Harding Insurance

My name is Dane Harding. I'm 35 years old, and started an independent insurance agency. I did not buy a book, I simply went to an owner & told him to retire, & that I would grow his book of business in the meantime, and one day leave once the business grew to be too big (all for free). He had around $1.3 million in premium when I took over, and he retired, and I grew it to $3 million, in 7 years. In my last year, I trained his daughter-in-law to run the business, and I took $1 million in premium with me when I left. His book doubled in 7 years, and I was able to start my agency like this. This was 5 and 1/2 years ago, and I have since grown this $1M book to $3.2M and I'm looking to replicate this with another owner who is interested.
