What each plan unlocks.

Milly Books has a tiered access model. Most of what an agency owner needs to test the waters is free — and the paid tiers add the marketplace and M&A tools on top. Here is what every tier is, how you reach it, and what it unlocks.

A marketplace only works if it is easy to start and clear to upgrade. Milly Books is built that way: the tools that help an owner understand their book cost nothing, and the paid tiers layer the active marketplace and deal tools on top of that free foundation. The result is a ladder you climb only as far as you need to.

This piece lays out the full model — the free entry points, the paid tiers, and the preview path for agencies that connect an existing system — so you can see exactly where you'd land and what you'd get.

§ 01 · Free firstTwo ways in at no cost.

Two of the tiers are free. Starter is the baseline for every account: create one, and you can explore the marketplace and run a valuation without paying anything. Seller is the free tier that matters most for owners thinking about a sale — it activates automatically the moment you publish a listing, and it opens the seller-side tools (the platform inbox and buyer-profile publishing) without requiring a paid subscription. You don't buy your way into the seller experience; you publish your way into it.

§ 02 · The six tiersHow you reach each one.

Above the free tiers sit the paid plans and a preview tier. The paid tiers form a ladder — each one includes everything in the tiers below it — while the connected-system preview sits to the side, additive and time-limited.

TierHow you reach itWhat it unlocks
StarterFree — every accountExplore the marketplace; run a valuation

ProPaid subscriptionBuyer + seller inbox, buyer-profile publishing, listing analytics & analysis
Pro PlusPaid subscriptionEverything in Pro plus the M&A companion workspace
EnterpriseBy relationshipFull access plus premium support
Connected-system previewLink your management systemTime-limited look at the seller-side tools

Pro Plus is offered at $100 per month or $600 per year. The M&A companion workspace it adds — deal tracking, document tooling, and the knowledge base — is the step up for owners actively working a transaction rather than simply listing a book.

§ 03 · How the tiers fit togetherA ladder, plus a side door.

The paid tiers are strictly nested: anything Pro can do, Pro Plus and Enterprise can do too, and everything the Seller tier opens is available to every paid plan above it. That means upgrading never takes a feature away — it only adds.

The connected-system preview is deliberately not a rung on that ladder. It is a time-limited window — a few months from your most recent sync — that lets an agency already running a management system preview the seller-side experience on their own book: the valuation walkthrough and analytics, on real data, before deciding whether to publish a listing or subscribe. When the window closes, the account simply returns to whatever tier it would otherwise hold. It is a no-commitment way to see what the platform shows you about your own business.

Journal axiom · 1 of 1

Access should scale with commitment, not gate it. The work of understanding your book is free; the paid tiers exist for owners ready to act on what they find.
